Olga Darazs, President of the Board of Directors

Olga Darazs

During her career in the CSD Group, Olga Darazs has acquired extensive experience in the management and coordination of large-scale projects in the field of environment, especially in the evaluation of contaminated sites. Her training as a hydrogeologist prompted her to specialize in the sustainable management of resources and in the safety of the water supply. Since her appointment in 2011 as president of the board of the CSD Group, her activities have increasingly focused on strategic aspects as well as on the support and representation of organizations and associations. In this context, she holds the following positions:

President of the Federal Geological Commission FGC, an extra-parliamentary Administrative Commission, which advises the Federal Council and the federal departments on fundamental questions of geology.
Member of the Advisory Board of D-BAUG (Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering) at ETH Zurich.
Member of the SwissBoardForum committee.

Michael Fuchs

Head of Water Resources / Hydrometry German-speaking Switzerland

Michael Fuchs has many years of professional experience in the specialist disciplines of water resources, hydrometry, hydrogeology, prevention of water pollution, hydrology and dangerous waste. As a longstanding project manager, he advises cantons, local authorities and institutions on issues involving flood protection, low water, water management, settlement drainage, groundwater usage and protection, as well as extensively in the area of measurement technology in water, ground and subsoil.

Michael Fuchs is a member of the Swiss Society for Hydrogeology.

Jean-Pascal Gendre has been the CEO of CSD ENGINEERS from 2011 to 2023. He previously worked as chief engineer for planning and management of projects in the fields of civil engineering and infrastructure. He dealt in particular with the development, design, planning and management of complex multidisciplinary projects in the fields of civil engineering, tunnels and industrial buildings. He has a broad experience in the management of engineering consortia and in support for contracting authorities as well as in the application of legal provisions in public procurement. Under his leadership, CSD, in 2011 a medium sized company with only 360 employees, has since become one of the leading Swiss engineering companies with over 1000 employees.
